To young professionals

Offering career opportunities to young professionals just after graduation is one of the priorities in staff development for Gazprom Neft. Around 30 graduates obtain employment with Gazprom Neft’s Scientific and Technical Center every year. Even though most of them come from Gazprom Neft’s specialized departments at major Russian universities, the company puts a lot of effort in helping them with onboarding and tries to make this process as effective as possible.

To young professionals

Just like the rest of Gazprom Neft, STC takes part in a three-year program for professional development of young employees of production companies known as “Three milestones”. This program seeks to unlock professional and career potential and includes workplace adjustment activities, educational trainings and a mentorship project. The program’s best graduates are recommended into the candidate pool of subsidiary companies. Anywhere from 50 to 100 STC employees may participate in the “Three milestones” program at once.

STC holds annual scientific and technical conference for young professionals, where they present their projects aimed at development and improvement of oil production technologies, as well as projects for development of existing fields and new assets of the company. This is a unique opportunity for young researchers to recap and demonstrate the results of their daily work, get an independent and unbiased evaluation of their efforts and acquire experience of participation in scientific discussions on professional issues. Besides, the conference offers managers a chance to see the level of knowledge of young professionals, which is a reflection of the level of problem definition and course of development at STC.
