Sedimentology (lithology) is a study of sedimentary rocks and their genesis. The analysis of composition and structure of sedimentary masses is key to the development of geological models and plays an important role in building integrated geological 3D models of oil fields

CONCEPTUAL GEOLOGICAL SIMULATION

Geological model describes the specifics of field geology and distribution of hydrocarbons in the reservoir depending on the history of geological evolution of the region and sedimentation processes that occurred in the area. This model can be used to forecast the properties of reservoir rocks and geological heterogeneity of producing formations, as well as to design the optimal process of field development

WELL LOGGING

Well logging is the primary way of acquiring information about an oil field throughout its lifecycle, from estimation of reserves to development planning, drilling and operation. Without well logging, there is no way to prove geologists’ assumptions of oil presence and reservoir prospectivity, or to make the best decisions during infrastructure construction and development operations
