He has been working in the oil and gas industry for over 15 years. He started his career in research projects of geophysics; then from 2007 to 2012, was involved in geological simulation technologies at UfaNIPIneft research center. In May 2012, he was assigned Head of Geology Section –Deputy Head of the Department of Geology and Development at Gazprom NeftScience and Technology Center. Then he moved to the position of the Head of the Planning and Geological Exploration Support at the Science and Technology Center; in March 2016, he became Deputy CEO, Science and Technology Center, Geological Exploration and Reserve Base Development. From June 2018 to December 2019, he was the Head of the Department of Technological Development and Digital Transformation of Geological Exploration at Gazprom Neft. Since December 2019, he has been working as the Deputy CEO New Technologies at Gazprom Neft Science and Technology Center.
Andrei Sergeevich Bochkov graduated from Bashkir State University in 2007 majoring in Geophysics. He is a Candidate of Science in Engineering, has a Master’s degree in reservoir management from Heriot-Watt University. He is a SPE, EAGE member and expert, a member of steering and organizational committees of the largest industry conferences in Russia and abroad.
